Each legal entity established in Slovenia that operates in the field of photovoltaics can become a ZSFI member. There are two types of membership: full member and associate member. The associate member can become organisation or company with a full or partial implementation of activities in the field of photovoltaics. These include:

• Research institutions,
• Institutions for quality control and measurement,
• Energy distributors,
• Governmental and other institutions.
